Interventions for learning and/or emotional well-being
- Delivering individual interventions
I can deliver interventions directly to children or young people, for example, working with a young person to develop their emotional well-being, through outcome based interventions using principles of cognitive behaviour therapy.
Interventions can also focus on directly promoting children and young people’s literacy, numeracy and language skills.
- Delivering small group interventions
Small group interventions can be organised depending on the number and ages of pupils.
Example’s of different groups:

- Developing pupil’s motivation to participate in school tasks

- Transitions from primary to secondary school: supporting children who are vulnerable or with Special Educational Needs
- Developing Resilience in Pupils (supporting pupils’ mental health and well-being in schools)
- Supporting pupils with a diagnosis of ADHD/ADD or with difficulties maintaining their attention and concentration
- Supporting pupils with selective mutism
